MacOS VPN problem

Known Elif Sevgi 44 hours ago

I've been using MacOS beta (silicon) for some time with no problems. For the last two weeks or so, and especially in the last 3-4 days I've been experiencing VPN problems. I've upgraded to the latest update and it got worse.

I'm a premium user, when I turn on VPN, the fastest premium server is Moldova, and would not switch to anything else. Clicking on USA or UK just shows endless greyed out flashing button that shows it's connecting but never connects. Can't choose any other VPN, and after clicking on them I can't go back to Fastest Premium Server either. Free server doesn't work either. Stuck forever connecting. I close the browser, reopen it, I'm now thrown out and have to log back in, the log in site says No Internet and doesn't open until the VPN is on, I click VPN and it automatically connects to Fastest Premium Server, it's once again, Moldova, same IP address, every single time (I've done this over 20 times in different combinations, always goes the same way) I then log in, as the website I need doesn't work in Moldova, I once again try USA or UK as I somehow don't have the other country options and stuck in forever flashing grey icon again. Endless loop of this. Before updating to the latest version (I clicked on the 3 dots and said download to the "update available" option. It's now 4.0.0.4 (arm64)), it would sometimes work and sometimes wouldn't, and now it never works. Which is a shame because I'm one of the oldest premium members of this browser and use it perfectly fine on my iPad and iPhone, it's only the Mac beta that now has this issue. I use a Macbook Pro M2, and if you need any more specifics, let me know.

Hopefully it'll be fixed soon, as the VPN as it is now is not usable for me. And even as this beta version is not as comprehensive as the app versions, I truly love this browser.

Good day,

Thanks for reporting. Is it Aloha VPN app or Aloha Browser app you are using on your Mac, what app version is installed?

Regards,

Aloha Browser App version 4.0.0.4 (arm64). The issue is with the built-in VPN.
