We won’t be changing anything regarding whether a link opens in a new tab or the current one. This behaviour is defined by the site creators, and we follow that as intended. Changing this logic could break how many websites function. For example, Google authentication is designed to open in a new tab—if we force it to stay in the current tab, it could completely break the login process. So to maintain compatibility and stability, we’re leaving this as is.

I realize that not all support tickets are exciting, and some persons are not technologically savvy. I may not be a coder or programmer; however, I work in telecommunications logistics. I had attempted to resolve this myself prior to posting a question. I obviously did not know the information you provided as the reason for closing the ticket. Again, it was a simple question I asked. Your pedantic response (much like this one) could have been better. A thanks for the question, unfortunately, that's a site-specific attribute. This is something we are not able to do; would have sufficed. The response was insulting in its context. I digress. I could have just replied telling you to go fuck yourself, but I wanted to attempt to stoop to your level and be insulting.
