Paused my Premium and forgot, then purchased again for a higher price.

I forgot to add that I repurchased like a week or so after I paused the first one. I don't know why the play store didn't notify me that I have paused my subscription that was made recently. Instead it allowed me to make a new subscription. The first one was a lower price. I would have resumed that instead of making a new subscription for a higher price.
