Premium Account does not allow background downloads

even with a Premium Account the background downloading does not work. if you’re downloading a vid then you exit the app it’s supposed to keep downloading. but instead when you exit the app, and then return to Aloha, the downloading has stopped and is stuck at 0/0 kbs. even staying in the app and swiping down on the iphone to see notifications, it also stops downloading and gets stuck at 0/0 kbs
