Error when moving downloads to device downloads and Files Access permission is missing.

Solved John 18 days ago

I accidentally reset permissions in my phone (Galaxy S20) and now I'm unable to move downloads to the device downloads, it says "Some items cannot be moved". The Files Access permission is also missing from both my phone's settings and the download settings in the browser. I've tried restarting my phone and reopening Aloha but it didn't help.

Good day,

Thanks for your feedback. If you wish to transfer files from Aloha to any other app on your device, firstly please move all Aloha files from the Private folder to any other folder. It should do the trick!

The files aren't in the Private folder, they're in the default download folder. I tried moving things around to different folders anyways and it didn't help.

In this case please take a screenshot of:

Settings-Apps-Aloha-Permissions and send it to us. Thank you,

I don't know why this was marked as solved prematurely, but I had to completely uninstall it, including removing all the data, and then reinstall it. Thankfully that fixed it.
