Since some days it is not possible to download videos anymore using the iPad app and tried several different sites/videos.
On iPhone it still working well for the same sites/videos.
Has there been any update with regatds to that?
I am running iOS 11.4 on an iPad Air 2

Yes, we had some changes in regards to downloading:
Apple has applied new rules to the app review process:
5.2.3 Audio/Video Downloading: Apps should not facilitate illegal file sharing or include the ability to save, convert, or download media from third party sources (e.g. Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud, Vimeo, etc.) without explicit authorisation from those sources.

So we had to change the way it works:
1. Official sites like Youtube and Vimeo does not work anymore (and won't be in any apps in the app store)
2. Other sites will work, but we have to approve it first.
