Suddenly cant drag video progress bars or sliders on macOS Aloha

Known sakae 16 hours ago

I’ve been using Aloha for about one or two years now, mainly on macOS just for watching videos. But a few days ago I suddenly noticed that I can’t drag any video progress bars anymore, and I haven’t changed any settings or updated my system at all. It’s not a huge deal for watching videos since I can still use the arrow keys, but it becomes a real problem when a website asks me to drag a slider for verification — I just get stuck there. I tried reinstalling Aloha and even rebooting my Mac, but nothing helped. I tried other browsers and they work fine. Does anyone know what’s going on or how to fix this?

Good day,

Thanks for your feedback. What Aloha Version do you currently have and on what website does the progress bar seek fails? May I please see this behaviour in the screen recording?

Kind Regards,

Hi, thanks for getting back to me.

I’m currently using Aloha version 4.17.0.0 on macOS Tahoe 26.3.1.
The issue happens on most websites I use, such as YouTube, Niconico Douga and Bilibili.

Here’s what I tested and recorded:
- YouTube: can’t drag or even click the progress bar.
- Bilibili: same thing, no dragging or clicking.
- Niconico Douga (both Aloha and Safari as comparison) : I can click to jump, but dragging still doesn’t work.
