Cannot access premium features. Paid for it this morning through Google, cannot restore purchase as it says nothing to restore.

Thanks for your feedback. In order to use Google subscription on your iPhone you have to sync Premium via Aloha Profile account and also remain logged in on your Android device.

Hi, All applications require a profile to share a subscription, as there's no way to transfer it between 3rd party services (app store, google play).

In this case you have to remain logged in on your android device along ios device to sync Premium. As the purchase has been made on Google play not App Store - these are completely different platforms and stores.

If that’s the case, why has it been working for years without issue and now all of a sudden, I have to cancel and pay more each month. The email address I’m using hasn’t changed, the only thing that’s changed is now I can’t access what I’ve paid for. I haven’t changed anything on this side, so why has it stopped working?

Hi Chris,

Nothing has changed with your email or your subscription. What changed is that your Google Play subscription can no longer be verified on iPhone without access to an Android device.

It worked before because your subscription was being synced via Android in the background. Without that, iOS cannot recognize the purchase, even though its still active on Google’s side.

Your options now are:

briefly use an Android device to sync it again
cancel the Google Play subscription and subscribe via the App Store
