Aloha premium on iOS still not downloading in the background.

iOS Aloha premium app has had an update but still background downloading is not working.
IOS version: 27.4.2
Aloha version: 8.4.0
When downloading from any website on Aloha premium and minimising, after a few minutes it may say “file downloaded” when it’s not, or nothing at all and you need to go into Aloha for that file to continue to download.
No iOS background download icon by the battery icon present like in the past
A reference was made to the problem being fixed this week but with the new update, issue is not resolved.
How do we resolve?

I’m unable to record an example,
I used to be able to download my Plex movies through Aloha without needing to do so via the app. Now it doesn’t even load the movie on the Plex page in aloha for me to show you, it’s actually worse!
When I did try to download in the past, I would see an iOS download indicator and I would receive a notification from Aloha to say it’s downloaded, now I get nothing. Another example is my nas website (WD Cloud), in the past I was able to download my personal family videos I recorded of my family and now it starts downloading but no download indicator like before and if the video is longer than 20 minutes at 1080p quality the video may freeze mid way while downloading if I minimise Aloha.
Please test websites with videos longer than 20 mins at 1080p quality and you will see the problem yourselves.

You must be aware this is happening I am not the only one complaining about this. I can’t even get refund as Apple states I’ve had the app for a while, ‘YES BECAUSE IT WAS WORKING’ and now the feature I pay for does not work for many of us.

Two separate issues here:
Plex page not loading — known bug, fix will be in the next release.
Downloads (missing iOS indicator + freezing when minimised) — separate issue, need a bit more info to investigate: Public test link that reproduces it. No need to share personal videos — please try a long video (30+ min, 1080p) from archive.org (direct .mp4 link, behaves like WD My Cloud), start the download, minimise Aloha, and if it fails the same way, send me the exact URL.Any pattern — file size threshold, Wi-Fi vs. mobile data, Low Power Mode, minimised vs. fully locked?

Have tried archive.org, will not let me download any videos on Aloha premium.

I have tried to send a recording but it says file is too big, have lowered the size and resolution to the point it’s hardly visible to send but I can’t send a recording as your system does not allow anything over 2MB.
Point is archive.org does not work either.
