Background download on IOS STILL DOES NOT WORK even after update!!

Aloha has been for months not downloading in the background.

Ticket was opened and closed without verifying issue was resolved.

ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED!

I’m on the latest iOS on 2 iPhones and still nothing.

I’ve unticked and ticked background downloading and still nothing.

while I’m on Aloha the video downloads and then when coming out of Aloha and back on it stops.

Still no background download icon on iOS/ipad OS like before. (Example shown in image, this does not happen)

Please stop closing cases unless somone confirms.

I am a 1 year payed customer and it’s been months I’m not getting what I paid for and Apple refuses to refund me as I have been with you for a while as it used to work.

I have sent images and videos and Aloha is still not resolving this and closing the case

When will Aloha resolves this!!

Hi, on what websites does it fail to download in the background?

I’ve mentioned this soo many times, I’ve sent videos, you guys are having to make me repeat myself all the time.

Let me make it simple.

On all websites when you attempt to download NO IOS BACKGROUND DOWNLOAD ICON APPEARS!

this is getting ridiculous now.

You keep closing the tickets, and then when I open them you keep asking the same questions.

I’ve explained sooo many times the issue, please go look at the videos and descriptions I’ve sent in the past. NOTHING HAS CHANGED issue is still there and I’m paying!

Background download icon you should see is in the attachment.

That Icon never shows up anymore!

And downloads continue to pause and resume when entering randomly

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t.

Very unstable.

All you need to do is resolve the issue with the icon and that will resolve all the problems.

Hi, I went through all of your past posts regarding background downloading issues and not a single one provides links to problematic websites.

Please add at least two links to videos (URL) where background downloading fails for you.

I have shared multiple times that the links are related to my synology drive personal videos which I cannot share and have worked in the past.

I have shared images of the background download icon that never shows up and a video of the intermittent pause but still nothing gets done.

I have also mentioned multiple times if you attempt to stream from any website, the iOS/Ipad OS background download icon does not show up.

However that comment continues to be ignored.

If you could offer me a full refund of the wasted money for your browser, that would be much appreciated, as Apple will not since I’ve used it when it was working properly for over 2 weeks.

To resolve the problem just address the icon issue I have shown multiple times and you refuse to acknowledge.

Once that icon shows up on iOS/ iPad OS when you are downloading in the background then the issue would be resolved.

It’s a very obvious problem, download any stream, no iOS icon.

No iOS icon means instability.

Allow ios icon, background downloading will commence as normal.

I’m not sure how much more clear I can get

Hi, we have opened a new task to investigate and resolve the issue with Synology Drive downloads running in the background. This may take a few releases to fully resolve.

Regarding Apple subscriptions, unfortunately, we do not have the authority or the tools to manage App Store subscriptions. Only you or Apple Support can modify/cancel/refund your App Store subscriptions.

Still no mention of the iOS/ iPad OS background download icon which I mentioned several times.

Can someone acknowledge this will be looked at? as this is the cause of the problem.
